We process slag to produce a wide range of marketable secondary raw materials tailored to our customers’ needs. Through primary processing and bespoke final processing in line with our customers’ requirements, we are able to produce high-quality products which are deliverded just-in-time.

The aim during the processing phase is to maximise the recovery of by-products created during steel production as well as to return as much iron as possible to the production process. The FRIEDRICH GROUP has made it its mission to close the loop in the production cycle. For this reason, we work closely with public authorities and our customers in the steel industry to continously develop new applications for slag and other by-products.
