The construction materials produced by the FRIEDRICH GROUP are used in both private and public civil engineering and road construction in the gardening and landscaping sector. For example, we process metallurgical by-products with a specifically adjusted composition into different aggregates for use as first-class mineral construction materials under the brand names of StahLith® H and E. They can be processed in the same way as natural mineral aggregates (e.g. gravel or sand).

We produce all common classified materials, from highly load-bearing sub-base materials, to high-quality gravel base courses and pavement bedding materials. The mineral aggregates are highly versatile and can be installed openly or under asphalt and concrete. In addition, they also form an ideal substrate for concrete/organic/natural stone paving and tile pavements. The main advantages of the product are its excellent compactability and high degree of stability. According to the Directive of the German Association for Water Management, Waste Water and Refuse, the material can be used as a gravel base course for the construction of rural paths and roads.
